1. To establish and manage information system on enterprises nationwide; in short run, to concentrate on establish an information network on enterprises operating under the Enterprise Law;
2. To provide information on enterprises to the relevant State and Government bodies on the periodical basis. And to organizations, individuals who so request and is being allowed to charge fees regulated by authorities;
3. To gather necessary information with respect to business activities to provide information to businesses for supporting purposes;
4. To provide professional instructions of business registration and of establishing and managing the business information network to business registration offices under the Departments of Planning and Investment;
5. To provide consultation to the Ministry in issuing, in accordance with its powers, specialized and professional documents, standard forms to service business registration, to provide for reporting regime on business registration and to inspect compliance with such system nationwide;
6. To disseminate informationon the establishment, dissolution and bankruptcy of enterprises, on the alteration of business registration contents of enterprises and on other legal information in respect of business;
7. To conduct co-operation with local and international organizations, to receive support from donors to establish and manage the business information system.
